Mission

The Playground Theater is a 501(c)3 non-profit, artist-led theater with its roots in improvisational comedy. Our mission is to provide a home for artists to grow as writers, directors, performers, producers, and people. We are committed to entertaining audiences with successful shows that reflect our core values: diversity, freedom, opportunity, and outreach. Interested in donating? You can do that here.

Vision

To champion underrepresented voices within our community by creating educational experiences, performance opportunities, and a safe space for self-exploration.

Tickets

Tickets for many shows may be purchased in advance through Dime by clicking the “Buy tickets” link next to the show you’re interested in seeing. Tickets are non-refundable.

You may reserve tickets by emailing us at theplaygroundtheater@gmail.com. No purchase is required to reserve tickets. We accept cash and credit cards at the door.

BYOB  Policy

The Playground Theater is BYOB (Bring Your Own Beer). We do not provide bottle openers, glasses, or corking services. You must be 21 or older to drink alcohol in the theater, and we reserve the right to verify the age of any patron.

Age Restrictions

There are no age restrictions for attending shows at The Playground. However, our shows are generally appropriate for those aged 16 or older.
