Performer Spotlight! Every so often, The Playground Theater likes to highlight a performer and give them a moment to talk about their time and feelings in comedy. This week, we’ve chosen to give the spotlight to Nick McDowell, a member of one of our Incubator teams-The Leftovers.

Q: What things have you been a part of at The Playground Theater?

A: College Night, Leftovers – Incubator Team, Kaleidoscope

Q: How long have you been performing?

A: 12 years

Q: What drew you to comedy?

A: The fun of being on stage with your friends and making others laugh!

Q: What has been your proudest moment doing comedy?

A: Creating a comedic opera with multiple movements for Huggable Riot’s sketch revue, Alternate Pending.

Q: What upcoming shows do you have?

A: Breakfast of Champions every Monday at 10 p.m. at iO
